EXPLORE THE CACAO FARM OF ARHUACOS ON A TOUR OF THE DON DIEGO RIVER

If you’re a chocolate lover, don’t miss the chance to learn about the cacao production process on the Cacao Farm of the indigenous Arhuacos people. Discover everything about cacao farming, including the variety of cacao plants, when to harvest, and the processing steps needed to turn it into delicious chocolate.

BOATING DOWN THE DON DIEGO RIVER

After lunch, you can enjoy a scenic boat ride adventure down the Don Diego river, where you can witness beautiful nature, many birds, and even some howler monkeys.

OPTIONAL VISIT TO ARHUACO VILLAGE

With permission from the mamo, you may also have the opportunity to visit the Arhuaco village (at an additional cost), to learn more about the indigenous people and their culture.

  • Departure: 7 am
      • We pick you up at the hotel

    Cocoa tour:

      • Learn everything about cocoa
      • Learn about the history of Indigenous people

    Lunch:

    Descend Don Diego river:

      • By kayak or boat
      • Watch the birds, howler monkeys etc.

    Return:

      • Arrival at Santa Marta at approximately 6:00 pm
